Non-duality means that reality is not a subject (me or I) experiencing objects but a unity (as opposed to duality) of subject and experience.

The sense you have of being a separate observer or experiencer of objects outside of yourself is an illusion or mistaken way of thinking.

That's the basic idea from my understanding but it's also an experience, not just a concept.
