A GitHub issue is not equivalent to a direct message to the developer. Other people can see GitHub issues/feature requests, and sometimes, one of them steps up and does the legwork of fixing/implementing the thing. > But I don't buy the idea that every interaction should be sugar coated. Me neither, Kovid has every right to communicate whatever way he wants to, and nobody can take that right away from him. Just as I have the right to consider him a rude [insert generic insult]. |
