I can’t speak for the cat, but this kind of change is really annoying. Then again I am not in the US and have no cultural biases that allow me to relate to the motivation behind this kind of thing. But hypersensitivity to these matters seems to have taken the tech world by storm, and we live in a largely US-led ASCII/UTF-8 where strings of characters are sometimes imbued with magical meanings, so… |
