Sorry but everything you’re saying only applies now. In a few years when we conquere aging and biological death this thought process of the inevitability of death will seem silly. For hundreds of thousands of years for sapiens the light just went off at night and it was difficult to see if not for the moon, to most people it seemed like an inevitability.
It’s surprising to me that in a community like HN we take biological death as a fact of life where the only thing standing between us and biological immortality is the disproportion between people thinking like you and people thinking like me.
And regarding your healthcare statements; if he finds a cure and it’s an actual cure, the socio-institutional approvals will be trivial to get. |
