Develop domain experience and a reputation as someone that ships things, and keep building contacts in that domain. Those contacts eventually will ask you to solve their problems and you ask for 3x the money you think you deserve in return. Why 3x? The problem initially looks easier, and whatever you end up shipping will take 3x longer than what you first estimated. |
