This is part of why you want to be "T shaped" and not "I shaped". It helps give you perspective on the context you're in and make sure you're not making really unfortunate mistakes just because you only understand your small part of the world. It'll even make you better at your main skill. There is some progress you simply can not make if you never leave a singular frame of reference. |
