I use it to pay for DNS and my phone bill, it works very well for periodic payments especially for experimental digital products (I get VOIP service from a Canadian startup that got kicked off paypal.)

I really like the idea of having an "ssh for money" even if its less fast. Early this year a bank randomly closed my account for no reason without telling me and mailed the contents to my sister's house in a cashiers check.
