Ask HN: Any good alternatives to YT Vanced?

After Google killed YT Vanced, Google could make it incompatible with Youtube at any moment. So im searching for an alternative client

What i mean with client is a client where i can login with a google account and see video recommendations, for example NewPipe is great but does not support google accounts. Im asking this because im thinking of creating an alternative to vanced myself, but i want to see other alternatives first

you can export your subscriptions from youtube and import them into youtube. they support that.

i have to ask, why do you need newpipe to support google account login? i personally have around 226 channels subscribed and have been using newpipe exclusively for like 3+ years without any problems. sure newpipe breaks every often but its no big problem in the grander scheme of things..

i have been told that "recomendations" of youtube are what keep people stuck within the official app logged in but at the same time, this is the reason i dont have a google login

Because i like what yt recommends me, and since i disabled search and video history it only recommends me channels similar to my subscriptions with a mix of trash/clickbait video (that sometimes helps me get away from my phone). With newpipe i would be stuck with the same channels and wouldn't discover new channels or content

On Android I use Firefox nightly + uBlock + Spnsorblock plugins. It works well and you get login too.

I tried but youtube from browser is too slow to load video
