> Nothing like spending hours downloading a few early MP3s in 94-95, and having to play them back at 1/2 or 1/4 quality because the 486 couldn't keep up (and even then running out of cache 60-70 seconds in and paused for it catch back up). LOL. I used to have to decompress them into 40MB WAV files to play them. My whole hard drive was 50MB. |
