Also, I'd recommend to test Sideberry https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sidebery/ Over its main purpose, there are the most useful container controls

I use Tab Stash at the moment but I think I might prefer One Tab. Tab Stash kind of just feels like "better" bookmarks as oppose to a way to keep tabs open without them using resources

You can disable this behavior in Tab Stash options: select "Close the tab immediately" in Tab and Memory Management section
