I suggest to try out lenses. At the beginning it's a little bit difficult to put them in or to remove them, but (at least for me) they work much better than glasses. If you are lucky and the lenses work well for you, you won't even notice that you have them inside (except for the fact that your vision is much better). |

The problem is that if you need to correct your vision for close-up work, a lens that corrects sufficiently may not be suitable for general purpose vision. In this case, you need to use glasses as you'll need to take them off when you get up from your computer, or you'll need bi- or vari-focals.
