> they don't want downvoted into oblivion I don't expect people to care too much abut that, because even if you get a thousand of downvotes, your karma is reduced only by -4. I think the problem is that risk that the comment may cause people to report it to Facebook and get her/him deplataformed, or report it to the employer and get her/him fired using the employment at will. The chilling effect is real. |
