Wall of text on point. I got a shelter dog 5~ years ago and it is a relatively difficult breed. I knew nothing about dogs. But I love it and take care of it (because I take ownership of my decisions, particularly where they involve the life of another creature), and it's gotten better over time. I also exercise caution where necessary. If I had to do it again, I'd get an easier breed. |
