Making it cheaper for companies to interview increases the potential opportunities for me as a candidate.

I do not take personal offense to being tested in an automated fashion.

Have you taken a bunch of these and still gotten the same ghosting, empty promises, non communication and put in multiple hours of your time for free? I certainly have. The best interviews for me are where I can talk in depth about a topic and to a lesser extent, about a hypothetical problem and how I might handle it.
I tried a few of these with different companies. Each one has failed due to technical difficulties of the platform (in my case prerecorded video interviews) and in every case I tried to file a ticket and never heard anything back. Black hole.

In one case I did a prerecorded interview and they later contacted everyone because something went wrong and they wanted everyone to do it again.

Done feeling like a number.
