Actually, it isn't that hard (took me about 5 minutes to arrive at the 3 steps solution). Especially with a number like 486 which you might have met in school, when learning multiplication... Then again, I like the mental exercise :-) Edit: And another 6 minutes for the 'hard' version (4 steps). |
