Important project changes, both technical and not.

Highlights:

Armbian is a Debian-based distribution for Arm-based single-board computers (SBCs).

Just installed the Debian flavor of this on a Rockpro64 today after failing to get the upstream Debian installer to work.

Great experience. Got my ansible config for Raspbian working with a minor tweak or 2.

I was worried from the description that it would include a DE and stuff I don’t need for a headless machine, but found it was just made to be easy to install with armbian-config.

I’ll probably migrate my raspbian hosts to it over time. I like the idea of a consistent OS across my single board machines.

Haven’t messed with GPIO, etc. yet. This one is just destined to run grafana and a tsdb.

Oh no (as you learned). In fact, desktop releases are a relatively newer thing for us (in the last couple years).
