Fuck. This is the moment I've been dreading for the last week, it means that there is a significant chance this conflict will now escalate rapidly. Europe will not stand by while a city of millions is slaughtered, at least, while at the same time I hope they won't I am painfully aware of the possible consequences of not standing by and would rather disappear than to live with the shame of doing nothing. This is just too ugly, all of it.
