>If a linter is required to tell me when I'm writing a bug that is not immediately obvious, that is a failing in the framework to round those edges. Lints are not rounded edges! Those linter warnings with React hooks show just how much of a disaster it is. All of the "simplicity" that comes with hooks is just complexity that is now completely out of sight, and only appears once the code is run in a linter. That is even worse than having the complexity in the code. |
