If using nuclear option comes into question then powers helping to defend Ukraine should make it very clearly known that any use of nuclear weapons by Russia will be retaliated by full nuclear response. If there is doubt, then probability of actual nuclear weapon use will grow exponentially with every day this conflict is dragging on.
