Elementary Number Theory by David Burton. I started reading this book in 8th grade to get a bit better at math competitions. Oh boy did it open my eyes. As an adult, it’s Shannon’s The Mathematical Theory of Communication. I read it at least once a year. It’s the most intellectually powerful paper I’ve ever read. |
