I went and filed this with Apple, radar #9930566, just referencing the blog post. I wouldn't assume the engineering team responsible for this code at Apple is reacting to HN posts so I figure it's still worth reporting. Nows a good time to rant about Apple's entirely opaque bug tracking process. Every bug you file is private. The only way to know if a bug has already been filed is to file a new issue and see if they close it as a duplicate or not. |
