That is fine if you don't mind loosing out on some opportunities because a very religious recruiting coordinator 6 months out of college making 45K per year decides your profile is icky. It's probably not the CTO, your direct manager, or even any of your peer that would be offended. Anyone in the long chain of people that are involved in your process from applicant to employee could cause a stink. It's difficult to say one employees who might filter you out is indicative of the entire company culture. I know a lot of happy employees who absolutely hated their experience being onboarded because of 1 or 2 difficult people. But who gives a shit about how Michael from HR took 9 days to send an official offer letter if you're never going to have to interact with them again? |
