> Thermal printers are pretty simple, I’m sure this thing could last enough 20 years. It depends on your print volume, but at some point the thermal head will start to wear out. On something common and simple like a GK420d this ain't terribly hard to replace, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. But yeah, I've accumulated a couple ZPL printers from past jobs and they're fantastic. Even hand-writing ZPL is surprisingly pleasant (as far as printer languages go). |
