On the contrary, "fake news" is just applied to everything they disagree with. This is partly a consequence from the main "right wing" news source (Fox News) is happy to endorse the legal argument that their shows are entertainment only, and that no reasonable person would actually take their hosts seriously [0].

They have people on air willing to peddle any old conspiracy theory at length.

And to them, this is the main outlet that dispenses truthiness.

I'm sure you can find plenty of crazy people doing crazy things. I try to look for the rational argument behind the straw-man. If someone is upset about "fake news", to me, that implies they believe that "real news" can exist. If they're mistaken or not is entirely besides the point.
