it seems more likely that factors like continued poverty and unfair policing and incarceration rates (minorities are both stopped more frequently and punished more severely) are to blame for both violence and the resulting culture, as these are things we have actual evidence for blaming culture and ignoring measurable factors is almost always lazy racism |
