It might seem like a painfully simple and unhelpful advice, but talk to people. Understand their domain and language. Ask about pain points and workarounds (without suggesting/pushing your own solution). These people are everywhere: reddit, hacker news, discord servers, forums, real-life. And read up on Paul Graham's essays. Follow some tech entrepreneurs' twitter accounts. Solve people's problems first. The tech can come later. |
