I’d be interested in getting others’ views on this, but it strikes me that headlights and their angle or height can sometimes be thought about as part of the “size/arms race” of vehicles. They say if you’re in the bigger vehicle in an accident, you’re safer, and maybe folks also think if you’re in a massive lifted truck you’re also less likely to be blinded by another vehicle. I personally drive an old Corolla and I am sick of being blinded by almost every other vehicle in the road these days. It’s to the point where it almost feels like a full on hazard because I literally can’t see for a few seconds while approaching oncoming headlights. My subjective experience is that it is getting worse.
Needless to say, but I am very happy with this news and potential change. |
