That seems a ridiculous interpretation. US companies liable for actions performed by the CIA? Forget GDPR, the entire population of the USA is guilty of war crimes. If the CIA required web sites to explicitly include a privacy invading snippet, even then it is dubious since it is under duress. And in any case, exactly the sort of stuff you would want laws like GDPR to hinder. |
