The idea that not looking directly at your webcam means you aren't paying attention is deeply ignorant, but probably understandable for a laptop-class manager. I've been kind of impressed by the inability of the verbal-only types to adjust to remote working. They refuse to read, they refuse to write, and in the absence of meetings, they just sort of wilt and pine away. |
