I’ve been obsessing over this idea for a while now. Never got around to implementing anything, but I really like the thought of just barfing things into my keyboard and having it all available at the speed of thought.

It's not hard to implement. Just have a one-handed shortcut open up a new file (with the date and time as the file name) in a simple text editor.

The harder part is efficiently sorting through notes so they can be referenced or acted upon.
