Yeah, but they dock your pay 30-35% for living outside a few select tech hubs. While I understand how such a thing made sense in the past, and could even understand a small difference, I think we're past the point where a 35% difference is fair.

To me, "docking one's pay" implies some sort of action to pay less than previously agreed. Is that what you mean?
