Where do you think IoT is going? I'm interested in your broad perspectives, as well as your take about whether it's worth investing in the skills to run IoT infrastructure.

Really exciting times for those in the illegal DDOS-attack industry. IoT firmware is either updated frequently, which makes it unreliable and bad, or it's updated never, which makes it insanely insecure.

Unfortunately, nowhere.

I would love IoT to go away and come back in a few decades, more mature with better privacy.
