2011 was when I saw country McDonalds adopt contactless in Australia. From then it was a pretty quick adoption for it to be ubiquitous. I'm currently on a trip back to Australia and I forgot my wallet (!!), but it's fine because I just use Apple Pay everywhere. It's never once been a problem. |
