That's pretty much what I wrote. You are disagreeing with a strawman. > corporate decision making is purely an optimization game between profits over various horizons. If they think this maximizes their payoff, they'll do it. Keyword being "various horizons". Sometimes it's a long term strategy, often it will be just maximizing the next bonus.. |
