Another day, another scam...

Various red flags:

- yet another discord "community"

- started as a telegram group

- used to bid on an NFT

- extremely complex structure, a new token, to get in exchange of eth, to bid on NFTs via various dapps

- the initiator for the "auction" heavily pushes the dao, a future candidate in said auction, on his twitter: it feels like the entire auctioning process is superfluous, why not ask for a set unit price towards a defense budget ?

This smell as bad as the shit Julian spread all over the ecuadorian embassy's walls, if you ask me.

Do you have any better ideas to free assange? A DAO seems perfect for this.

I wonder if you actually want him freed. If you dont you are in the wrong website.

Argue his case well in court ? I mean, I dont disagree wikileaks helped confirm what we all knew about the war, but scamming people via a DAO is a step in a totally unrelated direction. I remind you the DAO is not to bribe his prison guards, which would free him faster, but to buy an NFT, which is literally meaningless.

The problem is whatever he did was illegal in Sweden and the US and borderline in the UK, so with 3 jurisdictions trying to seek justice for 3 different crimes, no amount of pyramid scheme marketing will solve THAT problem. Plus, Ecuador might want to recoup the costs incurred by their disgraceful guest... maybe pay them first, so he gets one less enemy?

Is it really meaningless to buy an NFT that might result in Assange being freed? If anything it would have good resale value if he actually gets free and i would argue much more than ape club NFTs

The offence he is charged for (i think sex without a condom) and the sentence he is serving is a mockery of the justice system. (I will admit i havent researched the details here)

I think he is one of our heroes and we should do our best to get him out of prison.

Yes: the might is the pipe dream. Either you might be rich, might be early, might might might. Why not make a normal website with his lawyers bank accounts ?

Assange can go meet his accusers like anyone else im Sweden, why is he so special ? It s not sex without condom, it's insistence before the act not to use one despite the woman asking, considered rape there.
