It's a nice thing to do on the individual level but I don't think it's right to coerce people into the vaccine on this basis. An interesting reversal of this:

"If you vaccinate children against chickenpox, you lose this natural boosting, so immunity in adults will drop and more shingles cases will occur." It's seemingly not the primary justification the vaccine isn't offered, but I wonder if, to cut to the core question, those who are pro/anti vaccinating the low-risk to protect the high-risk feel the same way when it's flipped. |
