Accepting Responsibility. Half a check

Making Restitution. zero

Genuinely Promising Change. Check

Requesting Forgiveness. Check

I'd ding him an extra half point for that "I was quoted out of context" thing. Even if true, he's quibbling at a time when he should have been doing the restitution part.

Still, three points out of five is not bad by comparison to other public apologies we've been getting.
