What GoFundMe offers is a platform, easy place to fundraise for cause XYZ. Anyone can create a site and accept donation through crypto, but without the platform, it's a bit harder. Also the biggest problem here is that the people fundraising weren't saying what they would do with the money, it's unclear if they were even part of the organizing committee or authorized to fundraise on their behalf. |
