A robot doesn't need ar.

That's my point I tried making.

As soon as you actually use ar for people, at that point you have enough data for a robot to just do it instead.

As soon as you start creating ar support for it, you no longer need it.

I'm saying that this is not correct at all. There is no lack of data, but it's very very difficult to make a robot that can autonomously manipulate things well enough to repair things. It's not lacking data, it's about physical control.
