The democratization of filmmaking technology makes it possible to do what only Hollywood was able to do just a decade or 2 ago. A few smartphones, drones, and laptops can produce big-budget special effects. It's exciting to see what stories are told when people create and distribute content directly instead of going through the Hollywood filter. |
