I don't know why you're being downvoted. Fauci made his political name pushing for a public policy response to AIDS that looks extremely similar to what he's rolled out against covid. Yet it's been decried ever since as a mistake being based on fear rather than science, pushing stigma on segments of population in the name of compliance, and being so "overly cautious" that the damages (medical and social) far outweighed the benefits, even with its limited implementation. Why does that sound so familiar? |
