as of late last year - of the large tech companies - it seems that amazon and microsoft might be the biggest Rust (in prod) evangelists. they basically swiped all the mozilla rust devs that were laid off and made their own dedicated Rust teams. so far, this has been good for the ecosystem as they continue to contribute to the community but i know there's a lot of community members that feel uneasy about those moves. here's to hoping the worries amount to nothing :)
