This seems to be ignorant about what the law actually says on cookies.

Some of the examples of why you need a cookie prompt are false.

Cookies that are used to provide expected functionality (e.g. log in session cookies) do not require a prompt.

This script will show a cookie notice much like a lot of big sites by Google Inc and many other companies. It doesn't manipulate cookies or deletes them, etc. The purpose is to implement a cookie notice and nothing else.
Indeed. I would not use this, it is not GDPR compliant.

I wonder if it's just outdated, or based on wrong information.
