>10 years is not that long ago. In computers and software the difference between 2022 and 2012 is not as big as it was between 1992 and 2002. It's still an immense period of technology time - OS and hardware vendors don't support their products "forever": it's not sane to do so Run 10-year-old hardware/OS if you want ... but you should expect increasing issues over time |
