Just FYI, there's a now out of print Battlestar Galactica game which is very complex and very long but also excellent and very beloved by the hobbyist board game community. I used to meet up with friends once every other month for a six hour event to play it (the actual game took about 4 hours, but then set up, gathering, food, breaks took it to 6 hours). The publisher no longer has the BSG license so they rethemed the game to Cthulhu instead, and just a month ago re-released the game under the name "Unfathomable". It's no longer set in space but now in an ocean on a Titanic-like ship. |
