Will it help if ones use a strain with high CBD and low THC, like Charlotte's Web? (asking for a friend)

No THC would be the best one, if that's possible.

Smoking it was not tested and not advised.

Note: not an expert, i just read the article completely. I hope for high quality CBD oil though, but not sure. I need external advice to be more certain.
