Kubernetes on DigitalOcean scales pretty well.. fixed monthly cost. If I run out of capacity I just add an extra node or switch to more powerful nodes. Kubernetes takes care of provisioning the nodes. Google APIs OTOH... I went from $0/month to $450 the next because of their stupid per-unit pricing and hidden API calls. |
