I liked the analytics and the task management, but IMHO it does too much and the interface feels a bit clunky.

- multiple clicks to close a task.

- non-sensible defaults for creating tasks, like why not default the start and due date?

- can't filter by day

The way I think about personal tasks is they should be small and done in 1-4 hours and in the day they are assigned. I would never create a multi-day task. If a task is so big that it takes longer than 4 hours to do, I break it up into smaller tasks that are 4 hours long. If a task is more like a 'project', then I will use scope out the project in a tool like shortcut.com.

I also don't care to see tasks that I am supposed to due to tomorrow by default. My daily goal is to clear today's list.

I also really like automatically repeating tasks (e.g. "every quarter pay estimate taxes" or "water plants every 10 days") that appear on the day they are due. If I don't complete them, they stay in my list until they are completed and then re-appear in the next cycle.

Thanks.

You can hide features from the menu, so it's shouldn't matter if it does a lot (I hope).

I think there is only one click needed to close the task (the "X" on the top right, or "Create").

Filtering by day is something that is missing, true. Maybe there could be some defaults to be set for the starting/ending times also.

The tasks that are "due today" or "due in a week" will appear in the main page, so they should be easy to see.

Thanks again!
