Design documents are artifacts for PHBs to collect. They don't work in real life. What works in real life are guides and how tos. You want the software to do X? Here is a GUIDE on how to do that. You're curious about this library's API? Here are EXAMPLES on how to use it. These documents needs dates so if the how to was last updated in 2014 you know it's probably out of date so you don't bother. |
