Having 200+ pairs is not the same as 200+ currencies, so that’s quite misleading. You can have 200 pairs with 21 currencies.

I'm not sure there even could be 200+ currencies? There are only 193 members of the UN and many will share either the Euro or the US Dollar as their currency. E.g. countries like El Salvador just directly use Dollars and don't have their own currency.

So it's either referring to how many pairs they support or the marketing is over reaching a fair amount...

50 of those currencies are fixed exchange rate so there’s not much point in an API. To be completely blunt it sounds like you just Googled how many currencies exist and said you’ll support them all.

Currency data is free and everyone has it including yahoo. How does this compete with, say, IEX?

Who has free intraday data going back years? So far the only one I've found is Dukascopy. OP's website doesn't seem to say whether it does or not.

We haven't confirmed whether we'll be able to get the intraday data from another source, hopefully we'll have most of them starting from 2010 at the latest. If that's not possible then it'll have to be since our launch date. But having several years is a high priority.
